Reed Series
This series consists of botanical or zoological organic forms constructed from unconventional materials and the process of combining reed fibers, waxed linen and various wood appendages.
Donna works in an intuitive manner as she is a formalist at her core.

Garden and Barrier Series
The garden and barrier series are both investigations of the common place in the contemporary landscape. The interacting elements of growing vegetation, constraints used to control them, and the passage of time reveal changing vignettes that have been recorded in these found garden abstractions. An evolvement of the investigation of controls is present in the barrier images. Used as a filter through which to view the landscape layered of fencing material in conjunction with camera controls allow a transformation of the landscape to occur. The concept of energy and movement presents itself while the mystery of the abstracted image is enhanced.
